I've seen Dr. Payne before and liked his care. However, since he is busy I had to wait an awfully long time during my appointment. My appointment was 10:15 am, but no one saw me until after 11:30 am. I didn't leave until after noon. That is a long time to be sitting there.

I think Dr. Payne is. Good Surgeon. However, the follow up after surgery has some flaws in my opinion. Istanbul was difficult to get follow up appointments with him after surgery and while I am sure he is very busy, interns need to be supervised more closely. I think seeing them instead of Dr. Payne on my second appointment after surgery was a mistake. If Dr. Payne or another orthopedic doctor would have been present for my second appointment after surgery, the scar tissue that I was told that I had on my third doctors appointment could have been addressed sooner.

He’s great! Only criticism is the time allotment to see patients. Sometimes appointments feel rushed because he’s so busy and it doesn’t leave time to answer questions

He didn’t see me yesterday but very pleased with Dr. [ ].

It was told the Dr. doesn’t call his patients
or talk to them over the phone!
-Retired Dr. [ ] cared more about his patients.
-Had to wait a month to see Dr. Payne while in pain from a car hit/run injury.
-Was told he don’t make/talk to patients
on phone.
-I had United Healthcare to call and per them, I called to see if someone canceled.
That didn’t work!
-My appointment was for 2pm. I had a quick
x-ray and then a long wait. I was there until
4:35pm.
-I only saw a female medical student and a
a male medical doctor or resident!
-Dr. Payne did not see me! He did not come in my room.
-I was not examined/looked at!
-That night my daughter looked at my back and said it was bruised at T12 area!!!
-I saw Dr. Payne as I left walking down the
hall with residents/medical students!
-Very disappointed about Dr.Payne’s customer service.

Dr. Payne has taken care of my orthopedic problems for more than thirty years. He has always listened at tentatively to me explaining problems and take care in finding the exact problems and the proper treatment. I feel very comfortable following his directions and each time my condition improved.
