polite, non intrusive, let me talk with Dr. Makela. There's a lot I don't understand & I didn't even ask all the questions I'd written down but that's on me. Doctor Makela did not rush, I was just emotional and confused.

Dr. Makela was extremely thorough and asked me several times if I was co sortable with the plan of care. He made sure I understood and was very reassuring.

Dr. Makela is wonderful. I will highly recommend him to anyone who requires an Uro-Gyn physician. He listens to his patients, responds with true compassion and is able to connect with where the patient is at the time. These types of medical providers are out there and should be recognized for the incredible difference they make in a patient's life. I hope he is teaching younger generations of physicians, as this is exactly the type of providers that patients need in today's sometimes very broken medical systems. Highest regards as a Top Doc!

Dr .Makela is Great . He is very professional,compassionate and takes his time with you .I never felt like just a number . I had never had major surgery and I am so great full that I was directed to him . He repaired my bladder and preformed a total hysterectomy. The surgery went great the aftercare was awesome. My two after visit so far with very well and he was very caring. Anyone needing anything of this kind of surgery I strongly recommend Doctor Makela.Greatful Carla Kyriazis

At 74 this was my first surgery,
Was very nervous, but from the beginning I was listen to and all explaining the way I wanted to.
Dr, Make la is amazing, surgery went fast and I never had any pain.
He was there when needed and so glad I made this decision, thank you doctor, staff, nurses, you all get my appreciation and gold stars?
