Dr. Greis was very good at explaining the X-rays and the MRI images. He allowed me to make the decision to have surgery or not. My only complaint is that the scheduler failed to contact me after three business days.

Dr. Greis is knowledgeable, compassionate, kind, and caring. He explained the extent of my injury clearly as well as possible treatment options with the pros and cons to each. His bedside manner is excellent! He instilled trust instantly and I knew that he really cared about me and my recovery. He is an amazing physician and I am very grateful that I have the opportunity to be cared for by him.

Dr Gries listened to my symptoms. After reviewing the X-rays he discussed the findings and included me in to final decision making for treatment

Dr. Greis did an excellent job on my ACL reconstruction. He is a very efficient and knowledgeable doctor who took the time to make sure I understood everything without any fluff. He was personable and professional. My recovery has been quick and easy. I hope I don't tear my ACL again, but if I do, I would see Dr. Greis again for sure!

Assuming that most of the U's orthopods are at an equally high level, I am psyched to have Dr. Greis since he's clearly good at what he does, is an athlete himself and understands the level of performance that his athletic patients have come to expect and presumably does the work that will keep them there, is professional and a straightforward deliverer of diagnoses and outcomes yet is genuinely concerned for patients' well-being. I have complete faith in him, tho hopefully I'll not be needing his services again!

The entire team working with Dr. Greis was excellent. Grace, the MA, was very friendly professional and helpful in rooming me. Kali, the athletic trainer, was also very professional and performed a great intake/initial evaluation. She also kept me well informed of clinic delays, so I knew what was going on when Dr. Greis was running a bit behind. The rad-techs were professional, though unfortunately they placed their ID magnet over my fibular head, somewhat occluding the PA flexion view of my knee. Dr. Greis performed a thorough and excellent exam of my knee and was very thoughtful and reassuring in his assessment and description of the typical healing timeline of my injury. Overall, the team was high functioning and professional. I left feeling very reassured and well taken care of. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Greis and his team to any of my friends or family. I wish all physician practices were this caring and attentive! Kudos to all.

Dr. Gries is awesome!! he talks to you in a way that you can understand and not feel stupid. He has a fantastic bed side manor and treats each patient individually! I full heartedly reccomend sending anybody I know that has shoulder issues to him! We need more doctors in the world like Dr. Gries!!

Dr. Greis has been amazing from the surgery consult for my torn ACL, through surgery, and follow up. I feel that I received the best possible care I could get and don't hesitate to recommend Dr. Greis to anyone needing knee surgery. I am two weeks post surgery and feel I am well on my way to being able to enjoy all activities I was participating in prior to my injury.

My initial meeting with the doctor was a bit disappointing. He treated my condition in a cursory manner, foreseeing the possible treatments and outcomes very briefly. The second meeting went better with my conversation with the younger Asian physician first, followed by Dr. Greis with a more detailed, authoritative discussion.

Dr. Greis and Dr. Kali are a wonderful team. Dr. Greis was very kind and understanding. He offered solutions, empathy, humor, solutions. Like I said about Dr. Kali, Dr. Greis is phenomenal too. Please consider him for higher leadership and a raise. I would love to see them be a liason for the veterans needing care at the U of U. They are both special, and it needs to be recognized. More especially in this day and age. Thank you. I have been nervous about this whole operation, and after leaving their office, I feel I'm in good hands. Thank you.

Dr. Greis was amazing. My visits with him were short, concise, and to the point. His explanations and answers to my questions were clear and easy to understand. Though I feared the surgery, Dr. Greis helped me decide to go forward with the procedure with confidence. Thank you, Dr. Greis, for successfully performing this procedure. I can now look forward to getting back to the active lifestyle that I love.
