Dr. Patel is so knowledgeable and able to communicate his knowledge. He has a great ability to go through the symptoms I tell him and out loud rules in or or rules out what each could mean and why, in simple terms, so I learn too and have trust in his conclusions. He is able to put me at ease and when he makes a recommendation for a test or scan, I know he really thinks that is the next right step to get more information. He explains lab results just as well, too. I feel respected when I go to him.

I lost my last provider with MUSC. So I have been searching. This was my 1st visit with him. I picked him based on him being internal medicine. The reviews on line about him. After this visit I am very pleased with him. I did not feel rushed. We talked through my concerns . Worked up a plan to move forward. He ordered some blood work. I'm hoping for a long term relationship with him. VERY pleased .

This was my initial consult and I was genuinely pleased and impressed wuth Dr.Patel's knowledge and ability to convey his knowledge in ways I could understand. He reviewed with me my past lab results from my previous PCP and put my mind at ease about one of them that I had not understood properly and had been needlessly worried about for months. He was most kind and helpful.
