Dr. Patel has always been sensitive to my situation at home; being a FT caretaker for my wife. He is especially good at trusting to the patient’s needs and health. Explains things very well, and never rushes through his appointments, always spending the necessary time to explain things, and place the patient at ease.. Dr. Patel went above and beyond when the required stenting procedure could not be done via my wrist arterial access. He came in shortly after the procedure and explained the difficulty and his plan to get it done later that day. He immediately arranged for my transport, for admission and another attempt via my right femoral artery later that same day. The procedure was a success! Required only one night’s stay, and personally ensured my discharge the next morning was done early, so I could get home to attend to my wife’s needs

The nurse was nice and efficient. Dr. Patel nice and very professional. I’ve had very little experience with medical doctors and nurses so I don’t know a good experience from a bad experience

The doctor explained in a clear and concise manner. He doesn't sugar coat anything. All my concerns were validated. I feel confident in his ability to help me get on a better path with my health.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Dr Patel is very knowledgeable, and thorough. He explains so that I understand. This was my first visit and I am glad my primary doctor referred me to Dr Patel.

I was informed after waiting in exam room for awhile that Dr. Patel was doing a procedure and that I could reschedule or wait. I decided to wait. I thought I should have been informed a bit earlier, but visit went on as planned. But all in all visit was satisfactory. I am very satisfied that Dr. Patel is my provider for cardiac care.

I have a lot of health issues and see a lot of doctors, some through BJC. I really feel that Dr. Patel is an excellent doctor. I honestly feel like he truly listens to me and includes me in my plan of care. I feel he is very thorough, and always makes sure I understand my plan of treatment. I completely trust him, and that’s so important in a cardiac doctor.

Dr Patel was excellent in my opinion. This was only the second time I have seen him. He actually listened to me. I went in with some issues that I was concerned about. He explained the heart meds and how they work and then he came up with a plan to work on the issues I presented to him. Before I left, he asked me if I understood everything we discussed. FIRST TIME AN MD HAS EVER ASKED ME THAT BEFORE LEAVING! And he seemed very genuine.

This is my first visit with Dr Patel and I found him to be understanding and pleasant. With him, I didn't get the message most doctors seem to subconsciously send and that is one of "I know more than you." I believe my relationship with him will be useful and based on his knowledge and my inputs. During this visit we cleared up some questions I had.
