Dr. Parker thoroughly explained open surgery option for recurrent inguinal hernia given previous procedure was laparoscopic. I agree with the doctor's recommendation. He is very knowledgeable performing this surgery.

Dr. Parker demonstrated a high level of professionalism. He was respectful and approached seriously my concerns. Prior to our meeting, Dr. Parker discussed with the doctor who made the referral and had already reviewed all the related information related to the problem of concern. Dr. Parker explained the nature of the problem, the steps of the intervention and recovery. He used detailed handouts and projections. His communication was honest, forthright, yet kind and caring. Through his professionalism and knowledge, Dr. Parker inspired confidence!

Dr. Parker is excellent in both his medical knowledge and his bedside manner. He is kind and compassionate, encouraging, and always makes me feel that he is willing to spend the time necessary to make sure he answers all my questions and that I understand all the answers he gives me. Based on my experience, my daughter has made an appointment for a consultation with Dr. Parker. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to all my family and friends.

Dr Parker thoroughly explained the produces to be used for my upcoming surgery. He listened carefully to my questions and explained the answers. It is helpful to understand why the pre op steps - including a very restricted diet are important to my surgery outcome.

Dr. Parker listened. Nobody realizes how important that is he listened to me got the test done. Had my surgery done on the road to recovery and the surgery worked. I feel great. He is one of the best doctors I've seen in this country.

Dr. Brett Parker is an incredible asset to Johns Hopkins. Had it not been for him, I would likely have not had my surgery and just lived with my condition. He treats his patients with great dignity and respect and is an extraordinary doctor. I am so impressed by him.
