I am incredibly grateful for Dr. Khan taking me on as a patient to help treat my lupus. My very first appointment Dr. Khan ordered a comprehensive blood test that my previous doctor had not even mentioned as an option. I like that Dr. Khan listens to me and answers my questions.

Dr. Khan has been a good doctor for me. He used to be a lot better. Something in the last three years has changed. I think this has more to do with policies than Dr. Kahn though I think insurances and facilities should not be involved in doctors decisions. that’s why they are the doctors.

Dr. Kahn and I have a great rapport. When I am having problems like my kidney stones, or more recently my back, we discuss the problem and he always has a solution that has worked. His staff is courteous and kind. Overall a comforting environment.

The staff in Dr. Kahn’s Clare office are wonderful—always kind, helpful and professional. I also like Dr. Kahn and appreciate the care he has provided throughout my health journey, particularly in managing my pain. However, there are two concerns I repeatedly mention on these surveys that never seem to improve. First, Dr. Kahn is almost always late. I’ve been a patient for over four years and see him monthly. When appointments are scheduled as early as 5 a.m., I make the effort to be awake, ready and on time, and I expect the same respect for my time. Second, if there is an audio/video issue, Dr. Kahn often disconnects immediately without allowing time to troubleshoot. This is extremely frustrating, especially when the connection worked perfectly with his staff moments earlier. Technology isn’t perfect, and the issue could be on either end. A little patience and grace would go a long way. These issues aside, I think highly of Dr. Kahn and his Clare team.

The ladies up front and the nurses are wonderful, just to mention a few…Georgiana, Kim and Kayla? Sorry 😞 if I didn’t get your name right. Along with Dr Khan, they are a well oiled machine!! Everyone’s kindness means a lot to me, especially when I’m not feeling well 😊
