I’m sure that time and experience will help her as a provider, but as a parent I will stick to our pediatrician in the future. Emily told me she doesn’t run Covid and flu tests because she can’t treat them with younger patients. I never asked for a test but found this unsettling. If a patient presents with these symptoms I would think a test would be run to confirm for many reasons. She then asked if I wanted a strep test done before examining my child. I had to ask if an exam could determine if that would be necessary.

Emily was professional and asked many questions to attempt to get to the issue for my visit. She explained what she was going to do and ordered the just the amount of lab work to attempt to explain what has been going on in my body.
