I didn’t like the way Dr. Olds were talking to me. About my pain meds he told me that I should not be taking the pain meds because of my age.He told me that the medication that he recommend for me is better. And work better than the medicine that I am currently taking. He recommended Suboxone. I came home and went on the internet and looked the medication up I was so upset. I have never heard that you are to old to take Norco’s. My Auntie is 90 years old and she takes Norco’s. I would like to change Doctors. I have chronic pain.He is very young and telling me what I should be taking. I don’t like that. I have an appointment with him in 6mos. And I think he is going to take me off of my pain meds. I don’t abuse my medication.

Dr. Olds was geniunely interested in what I had to say and listened to my concerns. He took his time with me and understood my concerns and let me talk them thru with him without making me feel like he was rushed for time. We listened to each other and came to an agreement about the care I was to receive.

He is by far the best Dr I have had at Trinity. In the first visit I had he changed my medication for my COPD to a different one which made a positive difference. He is encouraging as opposed to demanding.
