Dr. Stack told me exactly what the issue was with my neck and shoulder pain, and got a treatment plan in place for me. He advised me that we would start with an injection to see if that would resolve the pain issue. I didn't see the doctor until 1 hour after my appointment was scheduled. I know doctors are busy, but we also have lives, and waiting an hour to see a doctor is why people don't go to doctors anymore. I can't recommend after that

I flew in from N.Carolina for my scheduled April 17th 2026 for 9:20am appointment and was told I didn’t have have an appointment scheduled-the receptionist excused herself and went to the receptionist that sits on the backside of the wall-while she was gone I produced the appointment card I was given to me on my last visit-with the April 17th 9:20am appointment. She said they would work me in. She didn’t know what had happened.
The front desk at the Council Bluffs office has been a point of contention for me-you have three receptionists always focused on their computers-most likely doing busy work-in the mean time you have patients on crutches-wheelchairs and patients with slings standing 3-4 deep in line waiting to be checked in. Not a good look for Ortho Nebraska.

Too much waiting around! They brought me in the office, we waited, the. He came In and talked and talks about what if this what if this. Should have just asked do you have any questions and went from there. Then sent me for X-rays. Then we waited more because he went to another patient. That’s rude! He should have sent me asap for the X-rays and then got me taken care of.

The appointment times were extremely lengthy from time of contacting the provider to the time to see the provider. Steroid injection insurance approval took 1 day, provider said three weeks to get approved. 17 days from appointment visit to procedure with very high pain levels is making living life difficult. Thank you for listening!

I had a terrible experience with the night floor nurse Outside of that, it was such a wonderful experience to be cared for by every single person I encountered. I don't feel like I received special treatment as an employee of OrthoNebraska, I felt I received the phenomenal care I see my co-workers providing every day.

I was and still am in excruciating pain. Have problems walking and am not sleeping because of the pain. Was told I have to wait 16 days to get help. I cried. I was in so much pain and just wanted a little relief. I have been doing other options at this time and may cancel my next appointment on the 13th. I will know by Friday.

I am just discouraged that during my visits on Feb 20 and Feb 23 that neither DR was compelled to engage in getting to know me, just my "limb". Frankly, I could have been "seen by" AI and been sent on my way. AI can read an xray, 'listen to my symptoms, and give me next steps.

I did not feel I got any answers from the provider. It was a rushed visit. The information received from previous doctors was old and I believe needed an update. Used old x-rays. Would have preferred to see if any change. Did not feel I was heard.
