Dr. Michael Thompson did a great job of explaining my options for treatment. He explained what the problem was for both feet. After discussing it with Dr. Thompson, I decided to go with surgery on both feet. One at a time. I felt comfortable enough to make the decision for surgery right away.

The providers were great but the receptionist didn't acknowledge my presence for 10 minutes as I was waiting to check in. I understand she was busy completing paperwork, however another receptionist on the other side of the reception area was the one who eventually said, "we will be with you shortly and appreciate your patience", but the girl who eventually helped me check in never did say anything until she finished what she was doing. A couple of words from her saying she was finishing up, or would be right with me, would have been better customer service and would have made my experience much better. I felt ignored.

If you are supposed to be there for an appointment at a certain time, and you are there at that time, you will be taken to the exam room and be seen by a nurse immediately, and the Dr is with in a few minutes later! As a patient, it makes you feel that your time is valuable too!

I'm going on two years with this pain and it feels very surface level with Dr. Thompson. He's running the same tests and it doesn't feel like he's really trying help figure out what is wrong. It seems as though it needs to be this or that but no potential other options. It's very dismissive and frustrating.
