Nicolas Detert, NP, was an expert diagnostician, good at asking me every question, and an effective communicator. He explained why he was ordering the specific tests, and what he was most concerned about ruling out, and if there were problems (if the pain didn’t go away in a week, or the results of lab tests weren’t okay) and the following action(s) that should I should take. He explained my medical condition and how to care for my kidneys, etc. He was focused, patient with my communication, answered my questions, and helped me to understand what types of supplements I need to watch out for. He was highly competent- I had no doubt that he was giving me expert medical care. He finished up the visit with message about the test results by the end of the day, and the following morning I received confirmation of his recommendations.

The entire team was awesome. I saw NP Nikolai as a "replacement" for my canceled visit with Dr. last week. I was very impressed and would have no reservations regarding seeing him again for an annual wellness visit.
