Dr Newsome, as always, has unparalleled expertise, the world expert in SPS, provides all relevant information and works with me in his field. He also has a strong breadth of knowledge about other medical areas and their potential interface with his care for my condition. He works and refers me to other physicians/evaluations as appropriate and is key in my overall care.

Dr. Newsome, and his entire team, are some of the most competent, respectful, and thorough doctor's I have worked with over the past 22 years since starting my care at Johns Hopkins. He is onsiderate of not only your physical health but also takes the time to check in on mental health knowing the Impact medical conditions can cause In a patient's life. I trust Dr. Newsome with my life and felel both heard and seen, never dismissed. I am extremely fortunate to be under Dr. Newsome's care.

Dr Scott Newsome has been the absolute best Dr over the years, could ever want. He is such a brilliant Dr who also has a lot of compassion for me. He has given me a lot of time , as l am a challenging patient with so many different autoimmune diseases plus Stiff Person Syndrome. He portals me back very quickly in response to my concerns. I put 100% trust in Dr Newsome.

I like that a student is usually at my visit, however a small suggestion might be to ask/prepare the PT for the additional this usually takes. It is always a significant amount and is welcomed, but I travel a bit and having a heads up would allow better preparation.

Dr Newsome and [staff] were very caring and thorough. The overall visit was very pleasant. They even asked a movement specialist that was nearby to evaluate me. He graciously did. For MS, these physicians are the best!

Dr Newsome Is a wonderful provider. He listens carefully to my concerns, educates me about my dx, and truly treats me as a partner In my care. The whole care team does a fabulous job from the researchers, nurses, MAs, residents and fellows- they are all highly engaged, and contributed to a very positive experience!
