Dr. Barrera is ALWAYS outstanding! He's compassionate which you don't find with most medical professionals anymore. He listens. And works with you as a patient AND parent to make sure your child/ren are getting what they need instead of mere suggestion

From the beginning, he has always listened to and heard my concerns. Not discarding or discouraging me or what I need to say or discuss. He very genuine in his care for others.

Absolutely outperformed my expectations. While traing his student I received in detail and recurring attention. Delved, and treated an ear issue that I did not know I had. Explained pro/con of new medication. Approved two vaccinations. Explained risk factors and ordered blood tests, referred me to in network Renown facilities. Established timeline for followup tests and consultation

Dr Barrera remembered everything from a year ago.. each symptom I had he broke it down so I could understand what was going on with me. He then explained very clearly my treatment options.. Honestly Dr Barrera has just SAVED MY LIFE.. I came in for a routine check up, he noticed my [ ]. He gave me the option to take an [ ] or promise to drive to the ER right now... I did, and found out that I was about to have a [ ]..... Had I left his office and continued to go to work I may not be writing this right now.. It's safe to say,"I TRUST HIM WITH MY LIFE".. I look forward to many more visits

Both providers were amazing during this appointment. We are new to the area and needed to establish care with a Dr and facility that we were confident would take care of my babies. I knew Renown was the place to be. Excellent care! TY Team!!

Dr. Barrera is a Spanish-speaking provider that makes me feel comfortable every single time I go into see him. I look forward to seeing him as an attending physician in the future. I know he will take care of me and my family well through as long as he is in the area. he should get a raise.

Very good at looking at you directly and you felt he listened to every word. Comfortable and easy to talk with. He didn't give off energy like he was rushed to get to another patient! Plus he's very handsome.

He is understanding and sympathetic with my emotional issues. He cares about me as a patient. Unlike some of the other Doctors at this facility ~ he never rushes me through my appointment ~ and gives me the time I need to discuss all of my issues. He is a breath of fresh air. Very down to earth.

The doctor explained the [ ] that I had last month that no one else had bothered to tell me about! As I had some [ ] last month when I seen the last doctor. And also filled some meds I needed. Will be glad to see him the next time.

Dr. Barrera is amazing! He knowledgable, kind, a great listener and extremely thorough. He took as much time as was needed for my appointment and did not rush me or his care. He made me feel comfortable and supported.

He is the first doctor to treat me like a person that matters, he is extremely open and receptive to my concerns and what I have to say about the problems I've been experiencing with my body for 5 years and I've had little to no help with finding answers until Dr. Barrera. I can't say enough about what a good doctor he is and I look forward to being under his care.

I was embarrassed talking about everything or even sharing but he definitely made me very comfortable. Just his level of compassion and empathy and professionilsm was very focused. I believe that him being knowleable of culture and language,family and culture was amazing. He made me feel comfortable at ease and that I was not being judged. He understood cultures practices and as minorities we need that. the facility was extremely clean and amazing, made you fel comfortable and welcome as well as his assistant as well with the cutural knowledge and not judging and made me feel so comfortable.This is extremely important to me and makes me very comfortable of not being judged.

yes hes very attentive to my conserns about my child and when i was concerned about heavy metal poising he ordered the lead poisining test right away he is concerned about my concerns of what im doing right or wrong
