dr bethel seemed genuinely concerned for my comfort and wellbeing. also he had good interactions with his nurse/assistant. made me more comfortable.

I had lots of questions. Dr. Bethel did not rush me; he answered them sometimes in medical terms, but also in terms I could understand. He is the best!

prior to this visit I met with Dr. oki for my twin pregnancy and was left with a lot of questions and concerns. Dr. Bethel was great in addressing my concerns and reassuring my husband and me that our situation is normal but high risk and does need consistent monitoring. We appreciate the time he took to answer our questions and look forward to our next visit.

Dr Bethel is always very professional and kind. At this particular appointment I had a few more questions than I normally do and he took the time to explain things to me. He's all around been the best physician I've had in 20 years.

This was my first time visiting with this physician. He never introduced himself. The doctor wasn't friendly at all. I didn't feel comfortable with him even though there was a nurse in the room. The nurse and other staff was more professional and nice than the doctor. He wrote in his notes i was rambling. I answered his questions. I saw him look at his watch twice while I was talking to him. This doctor seemed very impatient and in a hurry. I never got a chance to ask any of my questions, because he seemed like he didn't care at all. I will never go to this doctor or tell any friends to go to him either. My friend told me he acted like that too with. Any person should feel comfortable with asking their doctor questions whether it is regarding their health. i have never had a doctor behave like that in 43 years as long as I have seen many doctors!!

There is a sense that there is an eagerness to get me out the door and not give time for me to ask questions. I am a new mom and very anxious and nervous about visits. I often wasn't told results of my previous tests or was touched without being asked for permission like my stomach. I understand the business everyone is facing but little gestures like asking permission or noting one's hands will be cold or small comments that things look well go a very long way for a nervous patient.

Dr. Bethel took a lot of time with me, to explain my condition and the surgery option he thought necessary. He really listened to me and warmly gave me information.

I got test results and there was a comment that was put on the results which had me worried. I wish the would have called and explained the comment rather than just putting it on my lab results through MyChart app so I wasn't freaking out for two days.

His demeanor is sort of arrogant. His explanations of my condition was medical, not easy to understand. I was disappointed with the appointment and felt he was not empathetic regarding my situation.

For the first time in a long time I actually feel like a patient instead of just a number. Everyone listened to all of my concerns, I'm glad I switched over.

I really liked Dr. Bethel. He was very professional and obviously knows his stuff. He was also very kind and understanding and let me see and hear my baby's heartbeat! I wasn't expecting to get an U/S the first appointment, so it was a very pleasant surprise!

He didn't seem concerned, very passive and dismissive. I am in pain and have been and simply want answers. Not once did I ask for medicine for the pain and I haven't taken the narcotics I was given in the ER for it either, and that's what he made me feel like he felt I was after.....i just want answers and he was very "eh, whatever" passive and unconcerned.
