Kevin has proved to be an efficient, common sense, down-to-earth type caregiver! Not only does he take time (I know how busy he is!) to explain things, but he peppers his comments so they’re fraught with humor, even when serious. I sense a complete mutual respect, & don’t feel awkward calling him by his first name. I’ve felt very comfortable having him on my surgical team & his follow up has been extraordinary! My Michigan Health is blessed to have him on staff.

Dr Gurbuz is a lovely person. He is kind, humorous and quick to ask after my feelings about the details I’ve been learning about my conditions and procedures to alleviate them. He explained exactly what is wrong with my heart and veins in a manner that was easy to understand what is wrong and why it has to be corrected. He also explained my options in treatments and explained what other health issues I have that might become important factors to my course of treatment. Dr G is a patient teacher and I like him very much.

I was told I would have something to relax me but instead I didn’t receive it and Dr decided to have me watch when I was clearly nervous. And it was very painful and April was procedure and I never received post call home.

I am doing great because while in hospital everyone I came in contact with from Dr Weaver ; Dr Gurbuz and the staff atSICU were incredibly kind and professional at all times . I respect and grew fond of all.
