Mr. Bortel and his staff have been nothing short of excellent every time I've been in to see him. He has tremendous knowledge in his field of practice and always greets you with a smile. I highly recommend.

This was my first interaction with Dr. Bortel and he was professional, knowledgeable, respectful. He answered my questions, explained the reason for his recommendations. Dr. Bortel took time to listen to my concerns.

Dr.Bortel goes above and beyond when listening and caring for his patients. He seamlessly understands patients needs and concerns. He explains everything thoroughly and happily clarifies any misunderstandings. A trip to the doctor’s office is more enjoyable when you’re in the care of Dr. Bortel.

I had a company physical and a DOT physical the faculty has always been amazing very friendly very helpful Meily the nurse is always a very friendly during a drug test or a physical. She’s worth her weight and gold. She even got me a glass of cold water yesterday. I don’t think that’s really her job They have all been excellent. I would recommend them to anybody.

Great experience from check in to leaving. Staff were all very friendly. Company required fit test but the staff made it enjoyable. Emily [ ] was great also, made the testing fun and was very personable

I was extremely impressed with the flow of the experience - from being greeted walking in, the timely manner I was taken back, the flow at which tasks were completed; never waited more than a few minutes between "tasks", Doctor was very friendly and took the time needed. All questions answered and explanations given where necessary. Definitely a very good experience. Will be looking at switching to My Michigan systems for future health care needs.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I have an incredibly difficult time providing a urine sample because of a shy bladder. They were so kind and understanding. Emily offered me accommodations to make it more comfortable and I was able to submit my sample for a new job. I am so thankful for the staff!
