What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. Woolever has seen me for several orthopedic problems over the past 15 years and his concern and care are always top notch. He listens carefully and always has answers and a procedure plan . And I appreciate the fact and reassurance that he can fix things up !! I will continue to see this fine doctor, knowing that he always has my best interest at heart.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
He sat down and explained 3 options for my mom and we both had the same option in mind for her treatment. She has Alzheimer’s and putting a nail in the shoulder seems the best thing to do for her current condition. Everyone was nice and the appt didn’t take long . A special shout out to the gal who came in to schedule the surgery. I think she said her name was Dani? Not sure as I was upset about what happened to my mom. She asked me if she could hug me. That is exactly what i needed at that moment. Thank you!!

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
The first appointment we went to was great; Dr. Woolever made me feel like he was listening and put me at ease! The last appointment no one knew what was going on with my child, i had to tell them what we were doing and i only saw Dr. woolever for less then 30 seconds. No one updated me on my sons newest xrays. Dr. Woolever popped his head in and said “recast for a few weeks” and then walked out! Didn’t give us the time of day. I walked out of our last appointment very disappointed with that office! Only one person gave us the time of day and didn’t make us feel like we were just another paycheck, she still had no clue about what was going on with my child, but she was still attentive and explained everything about the cast removal process.

Excellent in every way! Dr. Woolever always has his patients best outcome in mind when determining a plan of action. He always listens to any concerns and we make a treatment plan together.

I've had several treatments from several doctors in this office and they have taken great care of me. I never have any fear that they are going to cause me undue pain. The injunctions to my knee has helped immensely. Thank you

As instructed by another MyMichigan doctor, I notified the receptionist at Dr Woolever’s office that we had another appointment following his appointment. Feeling like I was not heard, I told the nurse that showed us to the room. He seemed uninterested and did not comment on it. I told him we would need to leave by 10:30 to get to our next appointment. At 10:30, 45 minutes after our appointment time and an hour after the requested arrival time we still had not been seen or been updated on Dr Woolever’s arrival. As we left we were told there were still 2-3 people in front of us. 3 days later a post summary was posted with clinical notes on my chart even though I had not spoken or met Dr Woolever! In addition to the terrible communication and service at the office, I was never called post my mri to notify me that I had a complete tear of my rotator cuff or of any of the results. To date, I have still not been called by his office to discuss the mri results and/or treatment.

I had surgery on my femur while on vacation and see Woolover for follow up appointments. I’ve been here for 3 follow up appointments have been pleased with the nurses, Jaimee [ ] and Woolover. Two out of three times now the radiologist has wanted me to x-ray the wrong leg which doesn’t inspire confidence.

Dr Woolever is listens and is up to date on all medical issues before he comes in the room. His judgement is excellent when assessing how he can assist with procedures etc

Dr. Woolover has been a trusted orthopedic physician caring for me both times I broke my leg in the last 4 years. He operated on my right leg, which healed very well. (My other leg did not need surgery, but he had it X-rayed periodically to monitor it. He is also a very nice person!

He’s been my surgeon for more than 7 yrs and I won’t ever go to another surgeon. Dr.Woolever and his employees are the most caring,professional and knowledgeable people.

Dr Woolever has been my orthopedic doctor for the past 15 years, and I trust his judgment and course of action. He doesn’t beat around the bush and tells it like it is, laughs at my jokes and despite my anatomical problems,, I feel good when I leave. That’s trust. When I need surgery, I let him do what he does best!

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I had a great deal of trouble getting an appointment for gel injections, getting the runaround frequently. The person responsible for making the appointment was, it seemed, overwhelmed, disorganized, and inept. They can do better. I now have the appointments but it was unnecessarily difficult to do so.
