Very nervous seeing an oncologist due to past experience but Dr Sahay was so kind and knowledgeable I left feeling like i would get the care I needed

Dr Sahay is one of the most conscientious Drs I have encountered in my cancer journey. She is a definite, must have in her field. As a retired [OCCUPATION], I can fully recognize her quality patient care, not always given by all physicians. It is evident that Dr Sahay recognizes and consistently strives to provide all that is needed by her patients.

The kindest, most compassionate doctor I have ever met. A difficult diagnosis to receive, but she offered encouragement, support, optimism and detailed guidance on options. Will forever be grateful for her medical advice and treatment and respect she gave us.

Dr. Sahay is the kindest, most compassionate doctor I have ever met. Forthright on condition but always optimistic and caring. So very thorough explaining condition and treatment options. We cannot thank Dr. Sahay and her staff enough for their support and care with this difficult disease.

Of the many health care professionals I have met, Dr. Sahay ranks at, or near, the top. She is knowledgeable, competent, experienced, and personable. I trust her judgment. Any test she has suggested was necessary to further understand my situation. Any drug she recommends, I can be sure is for a specific purpose. Dr. Sahay will not over-prescribe. Please, MyMichigan Health, do whatever possible to retain Dr. Sahay. She is a rare medical gem.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
If you don't need to deviate from standard protocol, Dr Sahay and the office are excellent. If you have questions or want any options to standard protocol, you will not get answers to that or options. Those will not be discussed until after you experience side effects and no potential treatment will be discussed either. Following standard protocol is strongly encouraged. If you are taking supplements, that is problematic as well. All of the staff and Dr Sahay are very friendly.
