I trusted Doctor Morse 100% to do the job. He explained everything thoroughly to me, I can tell just by speaking with him initially that he was the right person for the job. There's no comparison when I put all the other spine surgeons that I saw before coming to HSS up against Doctor Morse. They wanted to sell me spine stimulators and say "diabetic neuropathy", Doctor Morse knew I was In agony and made a real plan to deal with it, no spine stimulator and no diabetic neuropathy.

Dr. Kyle Morse checks every box of surgeon excellence, and raises the bar of expectation to a whole new level.Paramount are his surgical skills, in depth explanation of what to expect in terms of post surgery recovery in lay mans terms and accessibility.During my three night hospital stay, Dr. Morse visited me not once but TWICE, once in the morning and again in the afternoon. What truly stands out is my first morning post surgery. Dr. Morse held out both hands for me to grasp, and said, "Ok, let's take a walk." This speaks volumes about the surgeon and man. The HSS Team later informed me that Dr. Morse is one of the only surgeons who personally visits and interacts with his patients. He does not send a PA in his place. The respect they hold for him is a testimony to the qualities that set him apart.

Doctor Morse and his assistant Andrea are wonderful.

Dr Morse made me feel safe, confident and I knew that I was in the best possible hands.

I had previous surgery with Dr. [ ] and since he is no longer accepting Medicare he recommended Dr. Morse and my husband and I were very impressed by him. I’m looking forward to be a new patient of him and I know he will fix my back situation.

I am a physician who graduated from medical school in 1984. Over the past four decades, I have had extensive experience both treating patients and being a patient myself, and I have interacted with thousands of physicians. In that context, I can say without hesitation that Dr. Morse is one of the truly exceptional physicians I have encountered. In my view, truly great physicians combine several essential qualities that are not often found together. There is a thoughtful intelligence behind their clinical judgment, paired with an ability to engage patients with genuine humanity. They can explain complex medical issues clearly, without condescension, and they convey confidence that is grounded in humility rather than arrogance. In surgical specialties, this must of course be matched by a high level of technical skill. It is uncommon to encounter someone who brings all of these elements together in a single clinician, and Dr. Morse is very much one of those rare individuals. In both his manner and his work, he exemplifies what it means to be an excellent physician. I also want to express my deep and genuine appreciation for everyone I encountered at the Hospital for Special Surgery. I have run a psychiatric practice with approximately 25 employees for many years, and I understand firsthand how difficult it is to consistently maintain a high-quality healthcare organization. The leadership at HSS must be truly exceptional. Nearly every interaction we had, across roles and departments, was marked by kindness, humanity, and professionalism as core attributes, not afterthoughts. HSS represents healthcare at its best.

He clearly explained possible next steps (MRIs , surgical options, etc.) which he may suggest at my next appointment with in February 2026Dr Morse's Office Manager, Andrea was exceptional regarding my appointment scheduling and providing several Physical Therapy Scripts - which was required by my local New Jersey Physical Therapy provider.
