I checked in and paid my copay 30 minutes before my appointment and waited an hour and half in the waiting room and not called back. I approached the check out desk to ask about the delay and was told the staff never checked me in when I arrived

The wait time was excessive. My appointment was for 2:00 pm. I was called back at 2:50. The nurse got a little snippy when I asked if they were always this busy. My a time is valuable too.

The staff has a professional demeanor, and they are patient centric. They are never hurried or too busy to answer questions and help their patients deal with difficult illnesses and treatments. I always feel their empathy when I'm in pain. They always instill hope for the future.

Competence and thoroughness are the top 2 reasons. Having current knowledge and state-of-the-art tools also are important to me. Having industry leading doctors helps with my confidence in the treatments I receive. Being able to be seen in a timely manner keeps my confidence in UAB high.
