Although it took several months to get an appointment with him, I must say that it was worth the wait. I feel a certain amount of relief in knowing and understanding why I am in pain.

I went in with symptoms of side effects of the medicine he prescribed and he told the only symptom for that medicine was heartburn. But according to the information pamphlet with Alendronate that is not true. I experienced muscle cramping and pain, increased joint pain, abdominal discomfort, flatulence, headaches and dizziness. I informed him that I didn’t want to take the medication anymore. I have been 2 weeks without taking the medication and my symptoms are lessened.

I was extremely dissatisfied with my appointment with Dr. Monev. I told him my concerns and he shrugged his shoulders. He didn’t want to listen to anything I was saying that he didn’t agree with. He was unwilling to discuss things with my other doctors to compromise. It was the worst experience I’ve had with a doctor. I will never return.
