We were very pleased to find dr. Moncman, he was kind, patient, listened to our concerns, addressed and answered them. Rarely nowadays, he took his time and wasn’t rushed. My husband the patient felt very comfortable with him. His nurse could use more of a customer service, she was abrupt and somehow rude. Her name is Silica(sp?)But other than that, we are very happy we found dr. Moncman.

I came in with a prepared set of questions to insure I wouldn't omit my concerns due to trying to focus and process what he'd be saying to me when we met. I made sure to provide a copy of to his nurse (or PA) long before he came in, so he and I could cover the things that were important to me. I don't know what happened, but as he was running 45 minutes late for my appointment, he came in and though I specifically mentioned having the printed questions, I ended up instead of reading them, shooting them off the hip to him and totally forgetting I was sitting with a copy of the same questions I'd given for him to address. And though I feel the overall appointment was good, I feel that perhaps due to it being the lunch hour and him running late, it felt like when he ended things he dashed out quickly and then disappeared into a meeting or something. He did spend about 20 minutes with me, and his nature was relaxed, but still the list of questions I took the time and trouble to compile (all of one page) and have a copy for him was ignored. Granted I should have tried harder to present them, but honestly facing a neurosurgeon for the first time, and trying to hold it all together while having a disturbing medical picture painted for me … he deals with these situations all of the time. I do not. He was mentally in a better place to go through the question list, which is what I'd anticipated and why I made a copy for him to go by.

The visit was thorough and recommendations made on the spot for pain management and therapy.Dr Moncman explained my back issues and was open and responsive to questions.

Just a nice, helpful doctor. I was not a candidate for surgery but he kindly discussed where I should go from where I was. Great!

Thank him for his dedication to his patients. Trusting your Dr. goes a long way to getting well. Having your concerns answered with respect shows that no matter how times the Dr. has probably had to explain similar things to other patients, but still cares enough to go through the expainations as though it was his first time doing so, gives a patient confidence that his Dr. really cares about healing those under my care.

I was very satisfied with Dr. Moncnan Ryan.. He spent a good amount of time and was able to explain things and show us in detail. What was going on with the MRIs. Period and a plan of action was established.

The afternoon I was seen by Dr Moncman it was clear the network infrastructure was experiencing major issues. Check in desk, in room charting station went down mid way into initial check in with nursing staff. Dr not able to use it during visit. Luckily he was able to use his tablet to show images of the MRI and was totally focused on me and gave a great visit where I left with a definitive plan to resolve my issue.

Dr was fine, unfortunately he was called to emergency room and my appointment was delayed 1 hour, then he was behind schedule and spent 5 minutes with me

Although Dr. Moncman explained that my condition could not be helped with surgery, he was compassionate and helped me arrange an appointment with another neurology specialist in the practice.
