UAB is awesome! My doctor and all the nurses and staff and lab are all so kind and caring and they all do their job great! I enjoy my appointments! My Dr. Ismail has changed my life and gotten me in full remission and I will forever be grateful !!!

So thankful for Dr Ismail helping my mom's problem. Her other gastroenterologist did not help situation at all. Thankful he retired, & mom's primary referred her to Dr Ismail. Very helpful doctor.

All staff were courteous and coordinated with what happens next and when. Dr Ismail was thorough in his review of my symptoms and treatment history. He shared knowledge, invited questions, conveyed passion for his work, and inspired realism with hope.

Dr. Ismail is considerate and includes patient in treatment interventions. I like that he explains something and asks if I have any questions before moving on.
