My wife and I have been using UAB Family Medicine for years, first with Dr. [ ] and now with Dr. Shukla. We have always been pleased with the care from these two doctors and the nurses and other personnel at UAB.

The service was great because the doctor was extremely kind and she ask questions. Dr Shukla is concerned about her patients and wants to make sure you are taken care of before you leave her office.

The staff is extremely nice. I was called back for my appointment on time. Dr. Shukla was very thorough and checked my records for vaccinations so that I would know which were needed. She was also very friendly. The facility is very clean and equipment is modern. Great experience!

My physician gave me a her undivided attention. She asked a wide range of questions regarding various aspects of my health. Her questions indicated an impressive depth to her understanding and her concern. I feel very fortunate that she is my physician.

My doctor questioned my own knowledge base and how I knew specific terms, and when I informed her of something that may be relevant to figuring out an issue, she seemed surprised and hadn't thought of it.

Dr. Shukla asked insightful questions, listened carefully as I answered her questions, and then followed up with relevant questions indicating her understanding of the situation I discussed. She was kind and clearly dedicated to helping me get the help I need.

Easy to park. Quick check in. Didn't have to wait long, very professional staff. Dr Shukla was very caring and reassuring. Lab tech who drew my blood had a very soft hand, I barely felt the needle.

I was impressed with the staff. Starting with check in, every employee there had a positive attitude, very friendly to all patients. The facility is modern and very clean. Dr. Shukla was very approachable and thorough in her exam.
