I've been a patient of Dr. Vaphaides for approximately twenty years. He has treated me with respect and provided excellent care throughout that time. The office staff have been very helpful and friendly as well. I feel that my needs have been addressed timely and accurately. This is very reassuring to have a medical relationship this reliable. The doctor is very professional and knows his stuff. The time spent with the doctor is very short but he knows how to treat the problem. I understand that we won't say alot to each other but the quality of his service is more important.

Everyone I talked to that day was friendly. When I asked a question they took time to answer it. The Dr wasn’t in a rush to get out of the room. I highly recommend this place.

Soup to nuts my experience at CEF could not have been better. Scheduling was easy, preregistration not a problem, arrival with a pleasant and welcoming environment PES, Micha MA was welcoming, very proficient/professional and Dr.V delivered exceptional care (as always).

I will recommend Dr. V all day long but the staffing situation needs some work. I feel like there are always new faces and not always friendly. No one has been ugly but looked/act bothered you are there.

I had a very nice experience with the initial tech who worked me up. I know it depends on the physician you are seeing, but I had heard such great things about my provider. Well, I have been to many physicians due to unfortunate medical sagas and I have never been to such an impersonable one as I saw at Callahan.

For a first time visit at UAB OSF Callahan Clinic 601 I was shocked that Dr. Vaphiades's assistant called me to her examination room at my scheduled appointment time of 2:00. I forgot her name but she was kind, welcoming and thorough in her examination and questioning of my symptoms. Usually I have to wait for 30 minutes to an hour for the examination phase to commence. Dr. Vaphiades was phenomenally excellent, extremely knowledgable, friendly, and great to speak with...a rarity in the medical field today! My entire experience at UAB was above and beyond what I had expected. Very impressed!
