Dr. Vaphiades is the best. He has helped me tremendously. Very smart and kind doctor. The whole Callahan staff is amazing! Highly highly highly recommend!!!

Dr. Vaphiades (Neuro Ophthalmology) Dr. [ ] (Retina Specialist) & Dr. [ ] (pediatric ophthalmology) are all wonderful. We are new to UAB Callahan & so far our experience has been great with excellent service. I’m so thankful for our referral.

Excellent care with painless injections for my treatment. I had a new question that the Doctor explained and verified that I understood. Lastly, I was seen promptly and had no trouble getting in and out quickly.

Doctors are very thorough in testing and examining, but it takes too long between appointments when they are diagnosing your condition and determining a treatment. I still don't know if or whether there is a treatment now that they have determined what I have after 6 months of testing.
