Dr is not very nice at all. Spent hours doing tests and they failed to give me a proper eye test so I could get my prescription for new eye glasses.. wasted my insurance for my annual eye test so now I have to pay for an eye examination .. they told me to come back another day and that hospital is an hour and a half away and I’d be charged again for a visit!

My appointment for my botox injections for blepharospasm and headaches went very well. Less than 5 minutes in waiting room and about that amount of time for injections.

Dr. V has a very kind, understanding, and patient staff. Dr. V is also very thorough and takes his time during the visit. I have never felt rushed out of my appointment! I have also really appreciated the quick responses to questions and concerns that I send in through messaging on the patient portal between appointments. He not only responds by the next work day, but he calls me directly to answer the questions himself!

The doc did a blood test, called that afternoon to say it was slightly elevated & asking if my sister-in-law was ok...she was, but the next day she was full blown sick. The early warning enabled us to get a call in to her doctor & medication right away. Thank you Dr. V!!

I think it is the best in Alabama. I've seen too many miracles you have done. Especially with children who could not see before but with the skills of doctors at Callahan are able to see now. You have the best doctor who is skilled in giving botox for Blepharitis or spasms.

Displeased with my 1 and only visit with Dr V. He specifically told me I see nothing. I stated I had extreme light sensitivity and pain in back of eye. He didn’t want to help me and told me that since you already have other doctors and there’s the door. I will no longer be seeing him. DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE!! His attitude, disrespectful, did not ask for my name and DOB to identify I was the right patient, DID NOT wash or sanitize hands, DID FORCEFULLY PLACE HIS HANDS ON MY FACE, clothes were filthy, I will be removing myself from Callahan patient list!!! He offered NO HELP or relief in any of my eye issues. I was NOT LOOKING FOR A PILL!! All I wanted was for someone to help me and figure out why I am losing vision, why things are blurry, why light kills my eyes, why colors are so different now. And he did nothing!!

The doctor’s assistant just came in the room and didn’t introduce himself or anything. The doctor seemed more interested in what happened than what the prognosis was going forward.

The staff at the reception desk were thorough and thoughtful on the front end and when checking out. The 2 techs were very clear when giving directions to obtain the best effort. The MD, Dr. V. In NEURO optimology was comprehensive. I will recommend without hesitation. 100%.
