Physician not engaged in my concerns. Spent little time with me and dismissive of my comments. Nurse on the other hand listened and made me feel comfortable.

Holiday weekend. Everyone was rushed. Doctor did not discuss any test results or findings.

I was seen promptly, tested several different ways, Dr V talked to me about my tests and I had no change in my eyes from my last appt. My eyes were completely checked out. With not many Dr's like Dr V, my time felt rushed, I do understand why. I'll see y'all next year

Dr. V is extremely intelligent but yet personable! I am a unique patient as I am monocular, he ran all the needed test on me in addition to what the Dr’s at Callahan eye ER performed.
He contacted me personally with my lab results and that he was sending me on to a neurologist who specializes in immunology. He is outstanding and I cannot say enough about his compassion. Truly a gem!

Exceptional. Veronica, Dr. Vaphiades, are all first class in making my visit go as thoroughly, thoughtfully, and quickly as possible. I was treated like a VIP, which I am not!

We really appreciate Dr. Vaphiades and his staff. The only negative was waiting an hour and a half in waiting room to be called back. Other than that everything was great.

This was my annual follow-up appt for upgrade the prescription of my glasses prisms. Both the Dr and the assistant were thorough in their exam. I was especially thankful they included a refraction "exam" as part of my appt.

The neuro-ophthalmologist Dr is extremely nice, as is (most) of the staff. But considering the wait time for the patients, is extremely unacceptable. 3 hours for a check up, is a bit extreme. I love UAB, and all the Drs I see there, this is my only complaint, especially with this department.
