He was very professional and explained in detail how the procedure was going to go and with me having heart issues with SVT, he wants me to be looked at by my heart doctor to make sure that I can withstand the surgery even though I just went through two surgeries these last six months because of how extensive it's going to be. to make sure that I am okay. He made me feel very calm about the surgery. I had no questions. Very much recommend him to anybody that needs a hernia surgery.

Dr. Thomas was extremely helpful. He kind of advised me that the ER doctor was not supposed to be pushing on my hernia in that form. But then again, it kind of recessed the hernia and helped me out a little bit. As far as pain factor, pain level, Dr. Thomas is very experienced with feeling around the hernia above my belly button, told me it was a bad situation. We need to get it fixed right away. My only issue is scheduling department has not called me yet to get this taken care of. I have a two week supply of meds, which I don't really take. I do the Advils or ibuprofen or whatnot. When I'm in the severe pain, I will take the meds, yes.

Dr. Thomas has been the best surgeon for my complicated case and he always provides detailed communication with me. He listens to the concerns of this patient and explains his plan of care very thoroughly. He will refer to other Renown physician clinics to consult for patient co-morbidities when needed. He is always very professional and extremely knowledgeable about complicated colon cases.

I consider Dr. Michael Thomas one of the best providers who has attended to my health and well-being. He is very knowledgeable in his specialty and does not beat around the bush when it comes to what to expect will happen during surgery, how long the healing is going to take and what to expect during the time of healing.

The care I got was very well. Dr. Michael was exceptional. I was to get an MRI scheduled and it hasn't been scheduled yet so that I can get an appointment. That would be the only problem I've had, but I'll contact him Monday to see what's up. Thank you.

The doctor, his assistant, and the nurse navigator were all wonderful to me. They showed compassion and caring. Being newly diagnosed with cancer is terrifying, and to have a caring medical team means everything!

The time it took to get an appointment with an urgent referral was a bit surprising (3 weeks). And when I had to schedule an MRI shortly after the wait would have been over a month if there weren’t cancellations, which is a bit concerning. I would likely look to other hospitals in the future.

Dr. Thomas explained everything leaving me completely satisfied. He even used a dry erase board to explain how a incisional hernia happens a second time and why repair is not needed.

I was a patient of Dr Thomas when he was with Western Surgical Group so he's very familiar with my medical history. In fact, he removed my colorectal cancer very successfully! I'll look forward to continued excellent care with him at Renown Oncology!

Dr. Michael Thomas has always been up front when it comes to discussing the current health situation that I am experiencing. He has always shown great concern when I have mentioned that I am in constant pain, can't sit properly because of the [ ] that cause [ ] in the [ ]. He makes sure that both my wife and I understand what [ ] has to take place, and what can't happen until a certain area has healed. He also keeps us abreast of what he is allowed/not allowed to do because of the strict policies and procedures that he has to follow.
