Wow what a great change for a new doctor , he seem to know what he was talking about and explained things and was very helpful and read my chart before seeing me as a patient. Glad I found Dr. Michael Persson.

He is very knowledgeable, but needs to slow down at times and explain what his brain is thinking. I think he is over booked and has to keep a schedule.

He is a great provider--listens to all problems and explains care. He is always either early for appointments, or is on-time. This is appreciated when we have busy schedules.

It's enjoyable seeing Dr Persson, it's quick and easy.

He always checks to see if I need my prescriptions refilled, he reviews my blood tests with me, and he makes out any referrals to other physicians during my visits. He always tells me to check back with his office for follow-up, if the referring physician doesn't contact me within a few days.

I feel that I can't share every ache, pain, or issue, for fear I'll have to be "referred". Is this a new thing? My previous doctor used to address many of the issues I had rather than always referring me. If this is the new way of doing things, and my current provider is merely following corporate guidance, I suppose I'll adapt (what's my choice?!)...but I'm curious as to why this is.
