All my encounter with the staff was pleasant & respectful. My only complaint is the location distance of where Virtua reconstructive facilities seems to be far from my hometown .

I was in and out. Follow up was scheduled right away to discuss my MRI results.. Dr. Birns is super supportive and caring. I will definitely recommend this office to my family and friends!

The staff was competent, friendly. Procedures were quick with my comfort as a priority. Dr. Birns listened to my every word and responded to all of my issues with truth, sincerity and care. I am sorry that I am not a candidate for surgery, but if I were, I would go to only Dr. Birns. He is a lovely person, highly recommended by his peers and patients.

Dr Birns has always been an exceptional physician for me, and is the reason I chose to travel to Virtua with the hope that he would be able to treat me for this ongoing issue. I trust him to give me the best care and give me honest insight for what to expect during my treatment.

REconstructive Orthopedics is a joke. No one has recommended reconstruction to me for the entire ten years that I've been attending there. And, when, finally, I meet a doctor willing to operate--he plays me. Putting all kinds of restrictions in my path so that I will refuse surgery because I'm too old.

People are very nice however they did not tell me before the appointment that they did not take my insurance and I had to pay out-of-pocket. That being said, Dr. Birns is worth every penny.

Dr Birns is an Orthopedic doctor that performed my total hip replacement. He has continued to provide the proper feedback for my continued improvement. I would recommend him to anyone who needed a referral.
