Very polite and helpful staff, very professional nurse practitioner. I was made to feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. The only downside is waiting in line on the street for the parking deck.

Upon arrival I was almost immediately brought back for my appt. The NP came in shortly and spend time answering all my questions. The support staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My requests for surgery date/time were listened to and all efforts were made to comply.

I had a great Doctor, nurses, anesthesiologists, and everyone else that had a part in my procedure. Everyone that I met at UAB each time I had a test before the procedure,during the procedure,and after the procedure was extremely nice,polite, and helpful. Thank you for being there.

Felt it was somewhat of a wasted trip. CRNP was not fully aware of the complications of my GI problem, nor why Dr. Argo (GI specialist at DCH Tuscaloosa) recommended that I come to UAB for surgery instead of doing it at DCH. CRNP was not able to explain how long recovery might be, or what dietary restrictions might be needed. In short, I think it would have been better all around to have seen the doctor.
