I've only started seeing Dr. Xu this year but have had the pleasure of seeing her multiple times already. I really appreciate how caring she is and her ability to explain things in a very down-to-earth fashion. She Is extremely knowledgeable but simultaneously humble, and will not hesitate to double check information she is not 100% sure about. Needless to say, I greatly respect her advice and clinical recommendations. I am so thankful to be under her care!

Dr. Xu is great. A couple weeks ago I scratched my eye. I was able to see her the day I called ,she prescribed something but my cvs didn't get the script( not sure what happened). I called the general phone number for Wilmer eye institute and whoever answered made sure to let Dr Xu know. Dr Xu followed up making sure I was able to access prescription. Today's visit was about getting new eyeglass prescription. Dr Xu was quick and professional. I had a great experience with [staff], he was super patient with me trying on different glasses.

Dr Xu was thoughtful , caring and paid attention to detail. This is important as she switched a medication I was using for glaucoma which is known to cause breathing difficulties. My asthma has gotten worse since I was first prescribed it.

It was my first visit with Dr. Xu. I was pleasantly how personable and kind she was. I felt as if I knew her all my life. I have to see her in May for further tests. She explained everything to me relative to my eyes. I like her and I'm pleased to have her as my doctor.
