Dr Hager and her assistant are always extraordinary at making necessary last minute adjustments working together to accomplish everything and stay on schedule, and this visit was no different.

Wonderful group of women! Dr Hager is so kind and you can tell she really listens and cares about you. She explains things in a way that I understand. She has a great personality and she is very encouraging. I am so lucky to have her as my doctor!

I really appreciated the amount of time and interest Dr Hager showed in making sure that I have the all the information needed in making decisions on having the best quality of life available for me. All of the staff were friendly and professional. Really happy that I got into BJC Med Group Rheumatology at Sunset Hills

I feel like Melissa is the best dr I have ever had at listening to me and emailing me my results and her opinion of them quickly instead of having a secretary call me and tell me. I am 65 so I’ve seen a lot of drs. I will highly recommend her to others.

I didn't know what PMR when I developed it. Dr. Hager's ability to explain my condition and advise me as I progressed was outstanding. She has always been responsive and available to discuss any aspect of this disease and monitored me regularly throughout this last year. I am truly grateful for her care and advice.

This is only my second time seeing Dr Hager but so far I have had excellent care. She explains everything thoroughly and we work together on my plan of care. After my last rheumatologist, this is a complete change of pace.

Dr Melissa Ann Hager always goes above and beyond the norm. She shows interest in the patient's total well-being. If your needs are outside rheumatology, she is ready with information and suggestions on getting the care you need. And she knows your case history when she walks into that exam room.

The staff from check in to the medical assistant to the doctor, Dr Hager were all very pleasant and professional. I was very happy to be in their care.

I returned to Melissa because of inadequate care I was getting from other Rheumatologist and she always takes the time I need to vent about this crappy body I'm living in! I've recommended her to family that's going through similar issues! She's a beautiful person inside and out!❤️

This was my first visit. Dr. Hager took her time with me and didn’t seem rushed. She was professional, friendly, and kind. She explained everything thoroughly to me and treated me as a person, not as a number (this is so important and I appreciate it).

Dr. Hager is truly a “unicorn” in terms of a physician provider. I feel as though she genuinely cares about me as a patient. She is an exceptional listener a pond truly SEES me as a individual and personalizes care based on MY needs. She communicates quickly and directly with me through MyChart messaging which has created an exceptional doctor/patient relationship, she ALWAYS provides immediate feedback regarding test results, and answers any and every question promptly and in a detailed manner. I am truly blessed to have her as my physician. As a former nurse for 27 years, I have worked with many doctors and I can say with certainty, her approach in caring for her patients is all too rare.

Dr. Hager is very good at explaining my blood work and what I like best is that she understands my unique situation with taking medications and she doesn't pressure me about taking them. She is also very pleasant.

Dr Hager explains plan of care and treatment very thoroughly and makes sure you understand and are comfortable with plan. She looked up dermatologist in my area and printed off information about her.
