Dr. Hager is truly a “unicorn” in terms of a physician provider. I feel as though she genuinely cares about me as a patient. She is an exceptional listener a pond truly SEES me as a individual and personalizes care based on MY needs. She communicates quickly and directly with me through MyChart messaging which has created an exceptional doctor/patient relationship, she ALWAYS provides immediate feedback regarding test results, and answers any and every question promptly and in a detailed manner. I am truly blessed to have her as my physician. As a former nurse for 27 years, I have worked with many doctors and I can say with certainty, her approach in caring for her patients is all too rare.

Dr. Hager is very good at explaining my blood work and what I like best is that she understands my unique situation with taking medications and she doesn't pressure me about taking them. She is also very pleasant.

Dr Hager herself was very kind and made me feel like she genuinely cared for me. She took lots of time explaining things to my level of understanding. She was quick to send a message on My Chart regarding my blood work.

Dr Melissa Hagar is very informative. She is well educated in her field and I feel comfortable under her care. She also study my health chart to know my needs and execute help especially because I deal with pain daily. She teach me how to manage. I'm thankful for her.

Dr Hager explains plan of care and treatment very thoroughly and makes sure you understand and are comfortable with plan. She looked up dermatologist in my area and printed off information about her.

Dr. Melissa Hager is thorough, easy to talk to and explains everything clearly. She is also friendly and kind. I saw her in another practice before she joined BJC. I liked her so much that I followed her. I now drive about 40 miles further, but it’s worth it.

I feel cared for at each and every appointment and interaction over the phone. They strive for excellence all of the time. They also taken into account financial needs when helping. I like this office enough that I am paying extra for the health insurance at my work that includes Dr. Hager. She is the reason that I am on the pricier plan

Dr Hager is one of my favorite physicians of all time. She is compassionate, empathetic as well sympathetic, intelligent, knowledgeable, on top of today's medical information and resources, and is very easy to get in touch with and responds to questions extremely fast. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I have followed her around the STL, as her care means that much to me!!

Dr Melissa Hagar is an outstanding Rheumatologist. I would recommend and have recommended her to family and friends who are dealing with arthritis issues. She listens and recommends a corse of action and allows you to make a choice that you feel is right for you. If you are in search of a Rheumatologist than look no further!
