It started with the fact that they cater more to new patients which allowed me to see a specialist much sooner than any others. The receptionist and the nurse (sorry I forget their names) were so nice and helpful with any questions/needs I had. Dr. Collins was extremely helpful, thorough and very nice.

So I saw Dr. Collins and it was an extremely lukewarm visit. She spent probably barely 10 minutes with me, which is fine, but she totally was not a warm person, didn't seem she wanted to be there, and she didn't even tell me when she's going to follow up, so I have no idea if anyone will even bother to call me back. And the same thing with the staff, I had to do a urine test. They sort of kind of just like, you know, they didn't even want to tell me, you know, where to put the stuff. They just, they didn't even look at me when they said, oh, okay, I guess we could put it over here. So they just randomly point out a place and I put my urine sample there. You know, there was, it just wasn't a very warm visit. And she just did the standard test questionings and I still don't know where I'm going to get my monthly infusion from. I have absolutely no idea who's going to follow up, when they're going to follow up. I think she just ?

No matter how frequent you see Dr. Collins. She still takes her time to explain everything. Dr. Collins is the best every time!

Dr. Collins is my favorite doctor of all. She listens to everything I say and offers her advice. She is great.

I can't explain how much I love Dr. Collins. She's my favorite doctor. She is so detailed with me and she takes care of everything. She checks on all my history on the computer and she just can't do enough for me. She's been very good with medications and everything else and she is actually my favorite doctor. And that's it. Okay.

Dr. Collins has unimaginably improved my quality of life. I have been seeing her for just over a year and a half after a hospitalization at HUMC. Since the beginning, she took every little detail relating to my symptoms seriously which has helped her to create a detailed and accurate treatment plan. My symptoms are atypical and where I have had other providers dismiss or diminish my experiences, she is instead persistent in helping me every step of the way. I now live life more symptom and pain free than I ever thought possible, and she is constantly trying to make my condition even more manageable. Her attention to detail in this way is demonstrated by how much time she spends with me during her visits. I have never felt rushed during my visits and she always follows up as discussed. She is very timely in reporting back on test results and maintains open communication by phone and MyChart messaging. I cannot recommend a better provider than Dr. Melinda Collins. Her technicians and secretary are also outstanding and make an excellent team. They are remarkably professional, skilled, and efficient. It is always easy to make an appointment at the office or virtually and I appreciate getting my lab work taken care of at my visits.

Dr. Collins always spends plenty of time with me. She listens to my concerns and definitely does not over prescribe medications.

Dr. Collins would be better if she could respond to email on MyChart sooner. Sometimes it takes many days, if at all.

Melinda Collins definitely listened to me and gave me the diagnosis that I was so worried, like I knew something was wrong with me. And a previous rheumatologist misdiagnosed me and Melinda Collins caught it spot on. So to me, she saved my life. Thank you.

I cannot tell you how happy we are with Dr. Collins. From the very start, from the first visit, she has been so helpful and so efficient and so professional. I cannot think of all the doctors that we go to, cannot think of one that surpasses her. She is the best.

Dr. Collins has been my rheumatoid osteoporosis arthritis doctor for several years. She is the best doctor that I have seen for this condition that I have. I highly recommend her to friends and family and my husband also became a patient of hers and considers her the best doctor that he has seen. And we both do have our rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis arthritis is severe. And we have seen other doctors, but no one was as good, professional and helpful as Dr. Melinda Collins. I recommend her very highly. Thank you.

Dr. Collins listened to me, examined me, gave me options for my condition, prescribed medication at an appropriate level for me. I am so happy I had the courage to go see Dr. Collins. I was very frightened. I don't see doctors easily, and Dr. Collins made me feel so at ease. Thank you.

The hours of service need to be updated on google. Other then that Dr. Collins is an excellent doctor! She works hard to find the best outcome for her patients.
