I found Dr Abola to be as easy to connect with as I did with my previous Dr [lat name]. I am awaiting a scheduling call from Dr Abola’s office. I’ll never go anywhere else but HSS for orthopedic care!

Resolved an issue with my hand that I have had for years. Very personable doctor who explained what issue was and what treatment was very clearly. It was a busy day and never felt rushed. Injection almost eliminated pain that I have had in thumb for many years. Great doctor

Dr. Abola had a demeanor that put me at ease. I was not worried at all about the biopsy performed. Everyone on his team were extremely professional and courteous. Follow ups at home were quite refreshing. If you want the Best go to HSS.

Outstanding experience, from walking in the entrance to leaving. Intake, testing and Dr were excellent. The system is seamless, clean and friendly.

I was told to arrive @ 9:30 am to have an X-ray but instead I was taken to an exam room and I waited there for 1/2 hour until the doctor arrived. He examined me and gave me his diagnosis. I had to request an X-ray after he said I did not need one.

Dr. Abola was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough during my visit. I really appreciated the time he spent with me to review my imaging, discuss my diagnosis, and lay out the plan. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is a lovely physician!

I made a choice to visit HSS and Dr. Abola for a second opinion and I'm very glad that I did!!!
My original diagnosis was certainly incorrect and if I had stayed on that line of treatment I probably would have regretted it. I am thankful for Dr. Abola's knowledge and professionalism and I'm very confident that I am now on the road to recovery.

The surgeon seemed thoughtful, kind, knowledgeable, thorough, and competent. He also did a very good job of conveying the most crucial information to me in a way that I was able to understand and retain despite my being confused by pain and worry about the fractures and the surgery. He created the feeling that I could ask any question, and that there was time for more questions.
