I really like Dr McCay, he listens and was very thorough checking me out. He seems very knowledgeable and I could actually understand everything he said to me. I definitely would recommend him to my family

Dr. McCay was superb in every way. He answered all of our questions, was never rushed, and was completely patient.

I was very happy with the girl who took my vitals; she was very friendly and personable. Dr. McCay really impressed me. I've never had a doctor that spent as much time with me. He put me at ease, and I felt as if he really cared about me. He could see I was close to "a basket case" with worry about Alzheimers, and I left feeling so much better. I had read about him before meeting him, and I really feel as if I am in good hands with his knowledge and care. I'm so happy I chose UAB Highlands Neurology.

My first choice is the Highlands. The staff is friendly & I very rarely have to waif!

Everyone in the office was kind and professional, from the front desk receptionist to Ontario who did the initial “work-up” in the exam room. Dr. McCay was wonderfully compassionate and patient. He was so knowledgeable and willing to explain a lot of things.

beautiful office Everyone was so friendly and caring ,the staff & nurse we were very impressed with Dr. Matthew McCay listens to all our questions & answers them so we could understand and took his time with my husband highly recommend him ‼️

The doctor listened to everything that I had to say treated me as a patient not a number we are going to work on a plan to start dissecting each part of the pain and issues that I have. I’ve already recommended him to another family friend very professional.

I liked everything about it! The Nurse and Doctor were wonderful and the atmosphere was so peaceful! Even the young lady who drew my blood was a joy! So glad to be sent to UABHighlands!
