Dr. Kircher was very thorough explaining the papilloma that grew in my ear. He knew that my prior experience with cancer made me anxious to have it removed so he willingly took it off immediately while I am sure this wasn’t allotted for in my visit. Knowing that it was removed and going to pathology helped me lessen my anxiety. His nurse Julie followed up as soon as the pathology results came in with a phone call and a myLoyola message.

After 1 1/2 years with two different ENTs from the same practice and no relief of my symptoms, I asked my PCP for a new referral. The first two had done no imaging and I was confident they were missing something. The third ENT I went to did a CT at my first visit. He called when he got the results and sent me for an MRI. When I returned for a follow up he told me he had concerns and referred me to Dr. Kircher. When he looked at my imaging, he saw a tegmen dehiscence, and set up a second appointment with Dr. Germanwalla for six days later, at which point we decided it would be in my best interest to schedule surgery to repair the defect as soon as possible. While this is a bit scary, I have a lot of confidence in these two doctors. If only I had been referred 2 1/2 years ago.
