Of concern was the MercyOne Lab at Genesis East. They reported my A1c to be in the diabetes range. I came in for consultation and stressed about my new diagnosis for 6 days. It was then learned the lab has a miscalibrated machine testing my blood and I did not, in fact, have type 2 diabetes. This was not ok!!

While De Campbell was in the room with me I forgot to show her a spot that I have. The lab technician was with me to draw blood. I asked her if the doctor could come back in. Dr. Campbell came back in and looked at my spot
