Dr. Kollakuzhiyil was very attentive, diligent, and responsive. She answered all of my questions knowledgeably and thoroughly. I especially appreciated that she carefully reviewed my chart and took note of all of my health-related issues. Thank you, Doctor!

On the day before my scheduled surgery, insurance coverage was denied. HSS managed to resolve it in time so that my procedure could go on as scheduled. A delay would have cost a month. Thanks !

Dr. K was informative, kind, and interested in my particular situation and case. I wish I had been more prepared to come with a list of questions, which would have been helpful, as there are still things I'd like to ask about my upcoming surgery.

Entire pre op visit was well organized and exceeded my expectations. I recently retired from Garnet health medical center in Middletown NY as a Tele RN. Boy, do they need to step it up! There is no comparison to HSS!!! I was totally impressed!

I appreciated the detailed information I received, from detailed time/location of each appointment to the handouts from the physical therapist. I noticed that each provider seemed proud to be working at HSS and proud of HSS as a center of excellence. All were very upbeat and positive which made my visit much more pleasant. Lastly, I appreciated how clearly things were labeled. Every hallway and juncture had a simple and clear indication of which way to go depending on your purpose. I wish NYC street and highway signs were as functional.

Everyone from security, receptionist, nurses, techs, doctors were amazing!! Polite, punctual respectful, They all made me feel comfortable, never rushed!! I feel somewhat nervous with my upcoming surgery, but they put me at ease with all the information given. Great job to all!

My experience at HSS is always very good. The staff is welcoming, helpful and very supportive.

The only thing that was hard for me was the space between surgery and seeing the dr for follow up. I like the comfort of knowing the physician has seen the progress and can confirm progress without complication. That said, everyone responsive on the portal and PT has been a good interim measure of progress. My follow up is next week and I am truly looking forward to it.
