This was my first visit with Mary Hackbarth, ARNP, and I left feeling both seen and supported. She met me exactly where I am—physically, emotionally, and medically. Her communication was clear, thoughtful, and affirming. She asked detailed questions with genuine curiosity, never judgment. I felt safe being fully honest with her, which is not always easy for patients navigating chronic health concerns.

I got home after my appt. My PA said I was a low risk and surgery would be fine. Then I looked at My Chart. My ekg said it was abnormal. My PA made NO mention of that at our meeting. I was upset about that and wondered why she had not.

My visit was helpful. My only concern is that twice in the last 6 months I phoned the clinic with concerns. The receptionist said a nurse would phone me back. On both occasions I didn’t receive a call back, so I ended up phoning my primary care physician instead. after waiting two days.
