Another doctor said I needed open heart but Dr Parent offered trying medicine and it seemed to work

I really appreciate his concern with my physical health. After listening to my concerns related to high liver enzymes due to prescribed medication by a dermatologist to deal with toenail fungus, he prescribed blood tests. I have been off the medication now for a couple of months but he informed me that if there were irregularities he would refer me on to a liver/kidney specialist.
