I have the best doctor and such a nice young man that is trading under the best doctor was respectful and very nice. I wish him the best.

UAB Highlands was not up to par yesterday. My appointment was at 8:45 am for an MRA with contrast and I sat there for 1 1/2 hours before I was ever called back. My appointment with doctor at TKC was 10:15. We didn't get there until after 11. When I get back to get IV in at the Highlands the first female RN stuck me twice and could not get the iv started. She was a talker too after I asked her not to talk about it because I would get nauseous & would have to look away. She would not be quiet about it so of course I got nauseous. A different male RN and a first time stick got it started. I never have problems with getting IVs started with my veins. So they need nurses that know what they are doing to start with before they just go poking on folks.

All staff were very courteous and polite
Facility was clean.
Dr. Harrigan was very good he explained everything to me and my son about my condition and we were very relieved that it wasn't had bad as we expected.
His nurse was fantastic and very thorough.

I was in and out quicker than any doctors office I have ever been to! Yet he had time to explain my need to be on aspirin! And explain how my aneurysms were doing!

Great staff and understanding nurses who listen and address the patient's concerns. The doctors also explain the patient's ailment in layman's terms which can be understood easily.

I drive in from out of town to UAB, and it is worth it. The staff is always so helpful and kind. I feel like I get great care from y'all.
