Exceptionally high standards. My doctor was/is amazingly knowledgeable and far exceeds other doctors I have had in different states by seeing future contingences as well as the problems at hand.

Dr. Burkhard provide in-depth details of the imaging that providers at non-HSS systems did not do. We greatly appreciated the time spent with him and look forward to our follow up visit.

Dr. Burkhard took the time to listen to my concerns and gave me the opportunity to ask questions when needed. He did not rush through the discussion and went through my films in detail, first time this has happened with the doctors I've seen. HIs assistant, Lisa, is wonderful and so understanding and accommodating. She too really listens and takes care of you. So far, so good!

Dr Burkhard listened to me: I felt like I had an ally in resolving my issue, which I had been struggling with for a long time. He explained the whole surgery to me, why he thought that was the best way forward in my specific case, what were the risks, what the recovery would look like, all of it in a way that was both precise and clear. I could not have asked for better.

Dr. Burkhard was exceptional from the moment we had our consultation with him. He spent a lot of time with us, explaining everything, engaged by shaking hands and making eye contact. The two times I put questions in the portal to ask him, he responded by CALLING me - twice. It's easy to see he genuinely cares about his patients and he's a good human being.
