What else would you like to say about your experience?
I am so happy with my nurse practitioner Monica McGowan. I have so much confidence in her. I always feel she takes her time and makes me feel like I’m the only patient she is seeing. Good listener!! Always explains things to me and concludes asking if I have any other issues or questions.

What else would you like to say about your experience?
I am very impressed with all of the nurse practitioners at Bethalco. I get very good care from every single one of them. The staff is always courteous and kind. They go out of their way to meet any need. They're wonderful. I just don't have any complaints at all. It's probably the only office I've ever been in where I do not mind at all seeing a nurse practitioner. They take time, they're interested in what's going on with you as a person. They're great. I appreciate everything they do.

I had never seen this provider before but she was wonderful. She was polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. I really liked her.

Monica is a awesome provider! Have had multiple interactions with her and every single one was 110%. Nobody else I'd prefer unless in a pinch

I was skeptical about seeing someone I had never seen on such short notice. Monica was so very impressive. She spent time with me, seemed to go over every aspect of what might be causing my symptoms, and ordered appropriate tests. Very pleased with the care I received.

Felt very comfortable. They were very receptive to me. The doc, Monica, was great. She listened to me, talked to me, gave me suggestions. I felt very comfortable. Would definitely use them again and refer them to people.

I really liked Monica. She went over my chart with me and asked me some questions and explained things to me and she was very good. It wasn't a protocol type visit. It was a caring visit and she did very well. Thank you. God bless.

BJC Medical Group Family Medicine at Bethalto provided excellent care. Monica was extraordinary, and listened to any concerns that I had.

Saw Monica for the first time. Monica was great!! She was sweet, kind, very professional and a good listener. She took her time to put all of the symptoms together to figure out what was going on with me. I felt confident she knew what to do to get me feeling better. I now feel much better. I would be happy to see her again! Monica and staff are the best health care providers in our area!!

Monica is the best! She spends all of the time with us we need and genuinely cared about the patient.

I tend to talk and I had a couple things I was concerned about that I'm sure I took WAY too much of Monica's time discussing. That said, she was very patient and engaged with me.

Monica was wonderful to listen to my concerns take into account what I brought up about my lab work that had been done and I had questions about and looking forward as to what my current problem was and how we could come to an answer with that.

Monica Magowan was exceptional! She evaluated the emotional, mental struggle due to prolonged physical disabilities and medical intervention over past 25 years. She was patient, sensitive, offered excellent advice regarding physical improvement with lifestyle adjustments, including diet, physical activity. Truly a psychological as well as medical informational positive visit/appointment. (Response from patient’s wife)

Everyone is always so kind when you come in. I haven’t seen Konica my past two visits. My last visit was with Monica again and it was so nice to be seen by her. Everyone just listens very well and makes me feel comfortable.
