As always, Dr. Maestes was thorough and didn't seem rushed. He gives clear advice and directions. When there are issues or treatments that are less clear cut, or a matter of preference, he is good about weighing the pros and cons.

For the first meeting with Dr. Maestas as my primary physician, I was extremely pleased. Wonderful explanations going over my my-chart test results, medication list, my needs going forward, and more. Dr. Maestas is great!

The doctor that I saw was very thorough, he asked me questions and had helpful answers to the questions that I had. I did not feel rushed. This doctor made sure I had refills , and gave me a piece of mind. Thanks again! Dr. Maestas is the best!!!

Dr. Maestos spent an unbelievable amount of time with me as a new patient. He was very courteous and friendly and we got into numerous conversations and he would circle back to the original issue of not completely answered. I am thrilled that he is my new doctor.

Dr actually listened to my health experiences and took the time to check my lungs, muscles, ears etc. He showed extreme compassion and knowledge and understanding. He carried a hopeful attitude towards getting my health back on track and that gave me hope myself along with a sense of security and trust.

Dr. Maestas is the best internist/family medicine doctor in the city in my opinion. He is thoughtful, a good listener and very experienced. I enjoyed my visit with him and am very glad that he's part of the BJC system now.

I had to wait an hour before saying the doctor, which is not acceptable if the shoe would’ve been on the other foot I only get 15 minutes. If I’m late, then I have to reschedule. My time is just important as the doctors therefore note I am looking for another primary.

I have been a patient of Dr. Maestas for over 30 years. I cannot imagine being under the care of a more courteous, caring, and informed physician than Dr. Maestas. Quite simply, Dr. Maestas is the very best !! So thankful and blessed that I am able to continue under his care.
