He projects a caring behavior and genuine interest in one's health and care. Also he and the staff were accommodating to treating me even though I didn't have an appointment...I had accompanied my husband to his appointment.

Dr. Lundy is thorough, patient, and helpful. I felt he ordered all necessary tests and does not give unnecessary medications. 8/10 because I feel he could become a little more comfortable with discussing uncomfortable topics.

He was so kind. He truly listened to me, and wanted to do his due diligence with the symptoms I was mentioning and wanted me to get some imagery done of my head. The ER people were nice enough, like not actively rude to me at all, but still they were very dismissive of some of my symptoms because they didn't think I was old enough for a possible TIA or stroke, while Dr. Lundy was like, "There are enough symptoms here that it's worth looking at and just making sure things are okay." He said even if I'm now just getting migraine with aura, that still constitutes enough of a shift that he wanted to look at my brain to see if something else is going on. I felt like he genuinely cared about me and wanted to make sure I would be okay. I asked if it was better that my arm weakness and migraine were on the left side since the weird eye thing happened to my right eye and he was like, "That's one of the main symptoms that is concerning me a bit because it would cross over and be on the opposite side if it could be potentially related to a stroke symptom." I asked him if he thought I was okay to just go home that night and he said, "I would send you right back to the hospital if I thought not." And I trusted his judgment because I knew how closely he was listening to me. As a disabled woman, medical professionals often treat me like they don't think I really understand my own body. Sometimes, they treat me like I'm legitimately stupid. Dr. Lundy took my concerns seriously. I could hear him and the nurse talking about me in the hallway and making calls to get me some urgent imagery and they were respectful, not dismissive at all. You can usually hear doctors talking about you in the hallway, and I've had MANY experiences where doctors say things like, "She's just anxious," when in fact I had Hashimoto's and really off-the-charts eosinophilic asthma. I know a lot of women who are just told they are anxious before they finally get correct diagnoses, so anytime a doctor actually listens to me and isn't like, "You're just anxious, bye!!!" it actually means a lot. If I didn't already love Dr. Specht for the same reasons, I'd be asking to switch to Dr. Lundy. Thank you!
