Hi, I feel very confident under Dr. Balsama 's care. He listens, takes his time, and has a lot of good information to offer and is very supportive and encouraging. I have a family member that works under a cardiac doctor, Dr. [REDACTED], and I've mentioned how much I love Dr. Balsama, and they recommend him, recommend to their patients to go to Dr. Balsama. And I appreciate the opportunity to go see him. Thank you.

The check-in staff from the registration in the front to the registration in the weight management center were extraordinary, particularly in the weight management. Very personable, very pleasant, and I just really enjoyed the interaction and the professionalism. Thank you.

Dr. Balsama is one of the reasons why I would never move out of this area. He is a magnificent doctor. He performed the sleeve surgery on me 15 years ago and he saved my life. He is an amazing doctor. Very courteous, very professional, friendly, makes you feel at home, makes you feel safe, makes you feel secure. And now he is in charge of my weight management program to make sure none of the weight comes back.

Dr Balsama is a very compassionate, caring physician who understands his patients needs and understands their overall health concerns. Giving alternative treatments and treatments that will help his patients achieve their goals along with positive outcomes. Never rushed, bedside manner could not be any better, just so fortunate that Dr Balsama had been referred to me I will be forever grateful!!!!

Dr. Balsama is a very nice guy, listens intently, and is very knowledgeable. And yeah, I would highly recommend him, and I think he should get a pay raise.

I scheduled an appointment looking for medication weight management. Dr. Balsama steered the appointment towards bariatric surgery and made it sound like it was my only option. He also did not explain the risks, post surgical complications, or long term consequences and life-long changes. After reading the packet the office sent me home with and doing research, I was in tears the rest of the day feeling extremely high anxiety and hopelessness. He did not respond to my MyChart message asking for any alternatives. I will not be continuing care with this provider. He also seemed dismissive when I said I had autism because I was masking during my appointment.

I eventually discovered that the prescription that Dr. Balsama had submitted was not approved by Medicare because I was not "unwell" enough to comply with their guidelines. I was so dissappointed.

Both the medical assistant (can't remember her name) and Dr. Balsama were kind and respectful. Dr. Balsama was patient and listened to what I had to say. He was respectful in our dialogue and I really appreciated his manner.

Every one in the office was great. I was there last week and am still waiting for medication prior auth. I called today and they still haven't sent the auth to my insurance. Shouldn't this have been sent by now?? They said the process can take 2 weeks. Seems like a long time for me.
