My July visit with Dr. Thornton was a follow-up visit. My physician provided mewith health information, after labs were done the week before the dr.’s appointment . I had previously ( 6 months prior)had labs ( at my annual exam)… with concern for pre diabetes. A1C test 6 months later showed my blood sugar level ~normal.. good to know I don’t need med. or anything further healthcare wise for type 2 diabetes, because I don’t have that disease. My pancreas is ” little bit sick” IPMN s.Diabetes would be a risk of more pancreas unhealthiness than I already have.
Dr.Thornton helps me stay on tract for preventing bad health, maintaining good health and treating my health problems. Dr. Thornton is a good person and an excellent physician. She and her staff take good care of me.I have respect and care forDr.Thornton and her office staff.

I love uab, my Dr. Lisha Thornton and staff are the best. They always make me feel good. When you have a staff that wants you to feel better and show you such compassion, you leave feeling good even though you may be in pain. Even the receptionist, when I first enter into the door they greet me with a smile. A smile goes a long way.
