Dr. Lisa K in orthopedic oncology is the best physician I have ever seen. Her kindness and passion for her patients go beyond anything I could imagine. Her entire team was fantastic.

Every staff member we interacted with was helpful, kind and considerate! Obviously this is stressed as part of your culture. This was my first visit as a patient at UAB, and I was certainly impressed!

The staff is great. No long wait. Very kind and helpful. Dr. Kafchinski is wonderful. Very caring, she listens to me, she is never in a rush while treating me. I've dealt with a lot of doctors and she is amazing and caring. I think she is great.

Very friendly and attentive. Great listening skills. You felt heard, not rushed through the appointment. Treatment options were explained and understood.
Long wait, but, referring back to the previous statements, it was worth it.

We love our doctor but the wait times are excessive, Many of the patients are older with mobility issues and they cannot sit comfortably for long periods of time in chairs designed for people without these complications. One older couple had waited on [date] from 11am until 4:30pm to see their doctor. I imagine they were not able to eat lunch and they still had a 4 hour drive to get home.
