Provider was rushed and not empathetic to my situation.

I had to push and advocate for myself more than I should have to. If I was not in the medical field myself, my concerns would have been dismissed.

I was made to feel very comfortable. Every staff member that spoke to me was very knowledgeable, kind, and professional. The smiles and welcoming faces were a blessing because I was nervous since I had never had a procedure or been sedated before. I could not have asked for better care. I want to thank each and every one of the staff members for such amazing care. Please be sure they are aware of how awesome they each are and how much I appreciate the care they provided for me.

The nurses and staff were very attentive and very kind. The NP I saw was very dismissive, talked down to me, and made me feel like the symptoms I am having and the fact that tests cannot be done a certain way is my fault.

My service felt very rushed. I didn't feel heard. It was my second time seeing this provider for the same symptoms I was experiencing before, and I felt like, instead of opting for further evaluation, they just threw more medications at me to see what would help.

I was very pleased that the nurse heard what I was saying and took the time to answer my questions & provided a viable solution to my problem. She was very patient with me since I was not at my best when I saw her.

I have no complaints. Everyone was pleasant. I was greeted when I entered the building direction to where I need to go and I did not have to wait long before I was called to the back so I had a pleasant appointment.

The tech was extremely unprofessional, as she was making fun of older moms. Leigh Lorino, my provider was also aggressive/condescending when speaking to me. They both made me feel very uncomfortable.

Leigh Lorino was very thorough during my appointment. She read over my files before coming in initially and even noticed that UAB scheduling had cancelled a follow up MRI mammo appointment without ever notifying me. I have had this appointment scheduled since February and nobody ever called to tell me I no longer had this appointment. She went above and beyond to make sure I had all of the answers and told me to reach out to her directly if I had any other issues. I really appreciated her time and not rushing through my appointment.

As I said, CRNP Leigh Lorino was highly recommended. Aside from receiving the best in healthcare, she is easy to talk to and acts like she cares. Everyone in that office was courteous, too.

The providers demeanor and bedside manor were not acceptable and I felt medically assaulted because she did things I did not come in for without my knowledge or permission and only told me after the fact and did not have necessary equipment. My pain was not a consideration till after the fact.

No but my visit was wonderful. Even though my provider was out sick, the other provider stepped in and tried to get to know me. She was very helpful and listened. I'm very grateful for UAB Hoover OBGYN.

The people that work at UAB are always friendly & professional. Ariel was like a ray of sunshine, so very sweet.
