I was singing in a very timely manner. Everyone was nice and polite and I got very good care.

I have no complaints. Everyone was pleasant. I was greeted when I entered the building direction to where I need to go and I did not have to wait long before I was called to the back so I had a pleasant appointment.

The tech was extremely unprofessional, as she was making fun of older moms. Leigh Lorino, my provider was also aggressive/condescending when speaking to me. They both made me feel very uncomfortable.

Leigh Lorino was very thorough during my appointment. She read over my files before coming in initially and even noticed that UAB scheduling had cancelled a follow up MRI mammo appointment without ever notifying me. I have had this appointment scheduled since February and nobody ever called to tell me I no longer had this appointment. She went above and beyond to make sure I had all of the answers and told me to reach out to her directly if I had any other issues. I really appreciated her time and not rushing through my appointment.

As I said, CRNP Leigh Lorino was highly recommended. Aside from receiving the best in healthcare, she is easy to talk to and acts like she cares. Everyone in that office was courteous, too.

The providers demeanor and bedside manor were not acceptable and I felt medically assaulted because she did things I did not come in for without my knowledge or permission and only told me after the fact and did not have necessary equipment. My pain was not a consideration till after the fact.

No but my visit was wonderful. Even though my provider was out sick, the other provider stepped in and tried to get to know me. She was very helpful and listened. I'm very grateful for UAB Hoover OBGYN.

Very disappointed with the care I have been receiving. I felt not listened to by my provider. I am looking into another provider to address my issue. When a patient has the symptoms of a condition this doesn't mean that he has to live with it. A management plan should be offered which was not the case with me until I pushed for it. Still the management plan is not convincing enough. Furthermore , although I am trying to get an appointment with my doctor, rarely I am able to no matter how early in advance I am trying to book and I am ending up with a PA who I am not sure if she is completely aware about my case.

Great hospital but staff could be a little bit more helpful with directions and making sure you’re ready to go once the appointment is over. Doctor wise, I think that more doctors should listen to their patients and concerns instead of using birth control to “fix” everything.

Leigh is an amazing provider! She always takes the time to listen to and address any concerns. The entire staff on WIC 9 is phenomenal from check-in to check-out!!

Traveled 1hr 30mins to this location cause I could get in sooner. I've been having severe pain and wanted it looked at. Got in with the doctor and all we did was talk for 5 minutes, no exam, no looking at problem area, nothing. Had to schedule a separate appointment just for an ultrasound that most likely could and should have been done when I was there instead of another day in pain and unneeded traveling.

My appointment felt rushed and I didn't feel like the provider took my concerns seriously. She did not provide adequate education or explain different options to me. I was really disappointed in her general approach to my health concerns. I'll be looking for a new OB provider after this visit.

I didnt realize I would be meeting with an NP until I got there. I think I will leave the UAB system because I never see the same person twice it feels like. I want to build a consistent relationship with my provider, not get shuffled around a team.
