When I arrived, it was easy to check in and didn’t have to sit out in the waiting room for a very long time. The doctor was very friendly, she listened to what I had to say, and then did my exam and gave me options. I couldn’t have asked for a more thorough doctors appointment.

From the woman who checked me in, to the nurse who did my intake, to the nurse practitioner I met with- excellent communication & people skills! Very professional! They made an anxious experience very pleasant and I am grateful💕

Everyone that was involved in my prep before and during my surgery was so nice, professional and comforting to me. All my Doctors and Nurses treated me so respectfully and tried so hard to do a good job. I will always recommend UAB to everyone.

I was told when the appointment was set that I was going to have a sonogram, mammogram and biopsy. I arrive, I am sent to imaging and after waiting and no one taking me to any imaging, the doctor does a breast exam. I am told I must come back because they are short handed. I am also told they never set the other appointments. They did not even do blood work. After waiting 8 weeks to get an appointment now I am waiting 2 and 1/2 more. I am very frustrated. They call and set me an appointment only to drop the ball.

The team there was phenomenal. From the front desk receptionist, nursing staff, to the care provider. Each person I encountered was exceptionally pleasant. My appointment was timely, and the provider provided essential information to ensure that I understood what might be going on. Great visit.

There's a 3 months waiting period to be seen for a diagnosis mammogram..that is unacceptable... When you have a lump.. in your breast ..

I have been very pleased with my treatment over the past two decades. I recently found a lump and was very impressed with how rapidly and thoroughly I was worked in for evaluation. I am very grateful and very pleased with the service provided by the breast health clinic.
