The problem is with the time to get an appointment and confusion about a change in the date. I have also had trouble reaching the internal medicine department. For at least five times +, I called to set up an appointment, immediately got a message that staff was on calls then after waiting an extensive time was disconnected. Overall I have been very happy with service by providers once I get an appointment, but your communication system is terrible trying to get through for an appointment.

Dr. Van Why has always been a caring and knowledgeable doctor. She is genuinely concerned about you. I drive over an hour to continue to receive cared and guidance from her.

I was sent as an urgent referral to dermatology. When I had originally called to get in, there was a large waiting list and I was unable to see anybody. I was also unable to see dermatology at another SSM location without a referral. So that was greatly disappointing. The only way I was able to get in to see her to treat my rash on my face that I had been dealing with for over a month was to get a referral from the express care clinic. The lack of providers that are able to see new patients is disappointing.

Dr Laura Van Why is a great doctor. I hope SSM can keep her because they seem to have lost a lot of good doctors over the years!

She is simply an outstanding Doctor. I use to see her in Menomonee Falls & when she moved her practice to Fond Du Lac there was absolutely no question I wouldn’t continue to see Dr Van Why

I have been treated by Dr. Van Why before and she has always treated me with respect and kindness. She knew what had to be done and did it without hesitation. She informed me of what she was doing and why she was doing it.

First impressions mean a lot and I immediately knew I will be in good hands with Dr Van Why. I was so sad to see Dr Schuster retire and was worried about finding someone else. Dr Van Why is amazing....no worries! So heppy!
